A Full-Circle Heritage: How We Create Our Tallow

Cattle grazing in Northern Colorado
Step 01

The Grass-Fed Lifecycle

It starts with the soil. Our cattle are raised on the high plains of Northern Colorado, grazing on native grasses. No corn, no soy, no hormones—just sunshine and open range.

The Harvest
Step 02

Ethical Harvest

Respecting the animal means using every part. We work with local processors to ensure a humane, quiet harvest that honors the life of the steer.

Internal Suet Fat
Step 03

The Golden Suet

We only use 100% Beef Suet—the hard, white fat found specifically around the kidneys. This is the cleanest, most nutrient-dense fat on the animal, rich in Vitamins A, D, E, and K.

Dry Rendering
Step 04

The Slow Render

We use a traditional low-heat dry render. We never use high temperatures or chemicals to "bleach" the tallow. This preserves the cellular integrity of the fats.

Triple Filtration
Step 05

Triple Filtration

The rendered oil is passed through fine-mesh filters three times to remove any impurities, leaving behind a pure, liquid gold oil that smells clean and slightly sweet.

The Whipping Process
Step 06

Small Batch Whipping

Once cooled, we whip the tallow at high speeds. This aerates the fat, turning a heavy balm into a light-as-air cream that absorbs instantly into your skin.

Final Product
Step 07

Poured & Sealed

Finally, we hand-pour the whipped cream into glass jars. From the Northern Colorado pastures to your doorstep, this is skincare as nature intended.
